You can turn on a system usage gauge in Forger so you can see how much processing power is currently in use. I’ve made it to around 2 million faces before my iPad started to freeze up on me. You can also subdivide your mesh so you can sculpt more detail into it. It takes a little getting use to the navigation.
Forger also has a lot of the standard sculpting brushes that other sculpting applications have such as Maya and Zbrush. You have the ability to have various objects in a scene. What I do like about Forger are the tools and options you have access to. The model only existed on the iPad which was a big turn off for me. Autodesk’s 123D Sculpt app did have the option of saving and exporting your model. The thing that got me hooked with this app was the ability to import and export models you make through dropbox. The app offers a lot of in-depth options and is one of the strongest sculpting apps that I’ve used on the iPad. I’ve gotten pretty good results from most of my tests with it too.įorger is available from the app store for $2.99, and if you have the money to spend on it I think it’s very much worth it.
